Ang mapa
Compostela Map Poster & Print
Compostela is a municipality in Davao de Oro, in the eastern part of Mindanao in the Philippines. Until 2019 the province was called Compostela Valley, a name taken from this town. From above, the town centre occupies part of a broad valley, with a compact grid of streets and a road running through it, while forested mountains rise on either side.
The land around the town is largely agricultural, and plantations and small farms cover the valley floor with a regular pattern of roads and field boundaries. Streams run down from the hills. Further into the province, the uplands are known for gold mining, which gave the province its present name.
A Compostela map poster is a portrait of a provincial town in Mindanao, shaped by its valley. There is a small central grid, a main road leading north and south, and farmland stretching toward the mountains. The drawing is light and open, and its structure is easy to read in any of the five styles.

Town grid
The centre is laid out in simple blocks around public buildings. It forms a small, dense cluster in the middle of the print.
Mountain streams
Watercourses run down from the surrounding hills across the valley. They add fine natural lines among the fields and roads.
