The Danube valley
The river crosses the map in gentle curves through a wide, flat valley. Its course separates the raised old town from the lower ground where later development has spread.

Ang mapa
Ehingen Map Poster & Print
Ehingen lies on the Danube in Baden-Württemberg, southwest of Ulm, where the young river winds through a broad valley at the southern edge of the Swabian Jura. The historic town sits on higher ground above the floodplain. On a map, its dense cluster of streets stands out against the looser pattern of later suburbs and industrial areas spreading across the valley floor.
The town is known in the region for its brewing tradition, with several breweries still in operation, and church towers mark the old centre. It is also home to a large Liebherr plant that builds mobile cranes. The factory's grounds are one of the largest single shapes on the map, a reminder that Ehingen is a working town as well as a historic one.
Beyond the town, farmland, wooded slopes and small villages fill the frame, and rail lines and main roads follow the valley. An Ehingen map poster suits anyone who grew up along this stretch of the Danube. It also suits anyone who would rather hang a quieter German town on the wall than a familiar capital.

Old town on the rise
The historic centre shows as a tight knot of irregular streets on higher ground. It is easy to tell apart from the more open, regular suburbs around it.
Industrial grounds
Large factory sites on the edge of town, including the crane works, appear as broad blocks of simple geometry. They add weight and contrast to the finer street pattern of the centre.
