Tennessee River
A wide stretch of river runs along the south side of town. It is the dominant feature on the map and separates Florence from its neighbours.

Ang mapa
Florence Map Poster & Print
Florence sits on the north bank of the Tennessee River in northwest Alabama, part of the area known as the Shoals. The downtown follows a regular grid on high ground above the river, and the University of North Alabama campus lies just beyond it. To the south, bridges cross the wide river toward Sheffield and Muscle Shoals.
Upstream, Wilson Dam holds back the river and forms a broad lake. On the map, it creates a striking change in the width of the water. Florence is the birthplace of W. C. Handy, often called the father of the blues. The town also has the Rosenbaum House, a rare Frank Lloyd Wright home in Alabama that is open to visitors.
A Florence map poster brings together the neat downtown grid, the curving residential streets further out and the great sweep of the Tennessee River. In black and white, the river becomes a bold, open band across the lower part of the sheet. It frames the town and gives the whole map a clear sense of place.

Bakit Florence
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Florence means a lot to students and alumni of the university, to music lovers who know the Shoals, and to families who have lived along the river for generations. A map of the town is a fitting way to remember it.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a graduation year or a family name. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir makes the river especially dramatic.
