Ang mapa
Fulda Map Poster & Print
Fulda has one of the most legible centres in Hesse. The old town sits on rising ground west of the Fulda River, with the cathedral square and the palace grounds forming a large open area in the middle of the street plan. Around them, medieval lanes curve in irregular blocks, and later districts spread out along the valley and the railway.
The city grew from a Benedictine abbey founded in 744, and the cathedral holds the tomb of Saint Boniface, which has made Fulda a destination for pilgrims for centuries. Most of the centre was rebuilt in Baroque style under the prince-abbots, which explains the grand axes between cathedral, palace and park.
A Fulda map poster shows that planning clearly: the palace garden and cathedral precinct as open space, the dense old town beside them, and the river curving along the eastern edge, with the Rhön uplands in the distance.

Fulda River
The river runs through the valley east of the old town, with meadows along its banks that divide the historic core from the newer districts.
Medieval lanes
Around the Baroque precinct, the older streets keep their irregular medieval pattern, a tight cluster that contrasts with the straight axes of the palace quarter.

Bakit Fulda
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Fulda is a city people stay connected to, whether they studied there, married in the cathedral or grew up within sight of the Rhön. The map shows the city as it is actually laid out, which suits a study, hallway or living room.
You can title it with a name, a date or a line of your own, and adjust the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the print files for $9 or order a matte poster, with or without a wooden frame.
