Hun River
Flowing from east to west through the city, the river divides it into northern and southern halves and gives the poster a long, calm horizontal line.

Ang mapa
Fushun Map Poster & Print
Fushun lies in a narrow valley in Liaoning, east of Shenyang, where the Hun River flows from east to west between wooded hills. The city has grown along both banks, forming a long, slender shape on the map. Bridges cross the river at regular intervals, and the streets on each side run parallel to the water before climbing toward the slopes.
The most striking feature, visible even at a large scale, is the West Open Pit coal mine on the southern side of the city. It is one of the largest open-pit mines in Asia, a vast oval depression several kilometres long, with stepped terraces descending into the earth. On a map it appears as an enormous blank area bordered by roads and rail lines.
Fushun has long been an industrial city built on coal, oil shale and heavy industry. It is also known as the place where Puyi, the last emperor of China, was held in the 1950s at the Fushun War Criminals Management Centre. A Fushun map poster shows the river city and its industrial landscape in sharp, clear lines.

West Open Pit
A giant oval mine several kilometres long on the south side of the city, its terraced edges creating a unique and almost abstract shape on the map.
Valley setting
Wooded hills rise on both sides of the city, pushing the streets into a long strip along the river and giving the whole map an elongated, directional feel.

Bakit Fushun
Isang mapang may kahulugan
For people who grew up in Fushun or whose families worked in its mines and factories, the city's map holds a very particular memory. The river and the mine give the print a composition unlike almost any other city.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a year or a district, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose among five styles, with Noir or Blueprint suiting the industrial character, and order a matte print or the HD files.
