Ang mapa
Gembu Map Poster & Print
Gembu is the main town of the Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State and the headquarters of Sardauna local government area. At well over a thousand metres, the plateau is much cooler than the Nigerian lowlands. The map shows a landscape of rounded hills and valleys, with the town spread loosely across the high ground instead of packed into a single dense core.
The plateau is known for its tea estates and for cattle grazing on its open grasslands. Roads from Gembu run outward to farming villages and toward the border with Cameroon. Reaching the plateau from below means a long, winding climb, and on a map the approach roads show up as a series of tight curves.
A Gembu map poster records a place that few people outside Nigeria know, but one with a very particular character: a highland town with a temperate climate in a tropical country. The irregular streets, the roads following the ridges and the open ground around them make for a light, spacious composition on the wall.

Open grassland
Much of the surrounding land is grazing country, so the map stays spacious beyond the town and the streets take a clear, distinct shape in the frame.
Loose town plan
Gembu's streets spread over undulating ground in an informal pattern, with denser blocks near the centre and scattered compounds toward the edges.
