The creek flows east from its canyon through the heart of the town. Its path forms a natural spine for downtown and the paths along the water.

Ang mapa
Golden Map Poster & Print
Golden sits where the Great Plains meet the Front Range in Colorado, just west of Denver. It was briefly the capital of Colorado Territory and is home to the Colorado School of Mines and to the Coors brewery. Buffalo Bill's grave is on Lookout Mountain above the town.
The map is defined by its terrain. Clear Creek flows out of its canyon and runs straight through the centre. North and South Table Mountain, two flat-topped mesas, rise to the east. To the west, the foothills climb steeply, and Lookout Mountain's road switches back up the slope. The downtown grid fills the valley between them.
A Golden map poster shows a compact town tightly framed by landforms. The regular blocks of downtown and the campus contrast with the empty spaces of the mesas and the curves of the mountain roads. Few small towns have such a clear, dramatic setting.

Table Mountains
North and South Table Mountain rise as flat-topped mesas east of town. On the map they appear as large empty areas with steep edges.
Lookout Mountain road
The road up Lookout Mountain winds back and forth up the foothills to the west. It is one of the most distinctive curves on the map.

Bakit Golden
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Golden is special to Mines graduates, climbers, cyclists and people who have lived at the foot of the mountains. A map of the town is a strong graduation gift or a reminder of time spent between the mesas and the Front Range.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a class year, and the coordinates. Pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9 and come in six print sizes. Framed or unframed prints can also be ordered.
