Ang mapa
Ibiúna Map Poster & Print
Ibiúna lies in the green hills west of São Paulo, and most of its territory is rural. The town itself is a modest, compact grid on higher ground. Beyond it, the map opens into a network of winding country roads that follow ridges and valleys between small farms and stretches of Atlantic forest. To the north the Itupararanga reservoir reaches in with long, finger-like arms.
The municipality is a major supplier of vegetables to the São Paulo metropolitan area, and its farm plots show up as a fine patchwork. It is also remembered for October 1968, when police broke up a clandestine congress of the national student union, UNE, held on a farm here and arrested hundreds of students.
An Ibiúna map poster is less about city blocks than about landscape. The reservoir's outline, the looping roads and the small central grid add up to a drawing that feels open and rural. It is a good fit for people who have a weekend house or family land in the hills.

Compact town centre
The urban core is small and fairly regular, a tight cluster of blocks where the rural roads meet, easy to find at the heart of the map.
Winding rural roads
Country roads curve along ridges and through valleys between farms. They produce loose, organic lines that fill the space around the town.
