Puebla corridor
The main route to Puebla forms the backbone of Ixtapaluca. It is a long line through the map, and most neighbourhoods branch from and connect to it.

Ang mapa
Ixtapaluca Map Poster & Print
Ixtapaluca lies on the eastern side of the Valley of Mexico, in the State of Mexico, where the metropolitan area begins to rise toward the Sierra Nevada. The main road to Puebla runs through the municipality. From above, the city forms a long band of development along that corridor, with streets pressing up against the hills on one side.
Much of the city's growth came in recent decades, and the map shows it clearly. Large housing developments appear as tightly repeated patterns of small blocks and closed streets, often laid out in near-identical rows, while older town centres keep a more irregular form. Between them, fields and hills leave unbuilt shapes that break up the density.
To the east, the slopes climb toward the volcanoes Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl, which can be seen from the city on clear days. An Ixtapaluca map poster captures this change from valley to mountain. It shows how the metropolis meets the land around it, in a composition that is both dense and open.

Housing estates
Planned developments form striking repeated patterns of small, uniform blocks. This graphic texture stands out sharply when drawn in black and white.
Rising slopes
Toward the east and south, the streets thin out as the ground climbs toward the Sierra Nevada. That leaves wide open shapes along the edge of the composition.

Bakit Ixtapaluca
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Ixtapaluca is home to many families who moved out from central Mexico City for more space, and a map of it often marks a new beginning. The dense patterns of its neighbourhoods make a surprisingly striking print on the wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with your colonia, your family name or the day you got the keys. Then choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand to suit the room and the frame.
