Ang mapa
Marblehead Map Poster & Print
Marblehead occupies a rocky peninsula on Massachusetts' North Shore, and its map is shaped by water. The harbour cuts deep into the town, sheltered on its seaward side by Marblehead Neck, which is joined to the mainland by a narrow causeway. The coastline is ragged with coves, points and ledges.
The old town near the harbour has some of the most irregular streets in New England. Narrow lanes bend and fork around colonial houses in no apparent order, a legacy of the eighteenth-century fishing port. Marblehead claims to be a birthplace of the American Navy, and its harbour is known to sailors as a centre of yacht racing.
A Marblehead map poster brings together the tangled old town, the curve of the harbour, the Neck with its lighthouse point and the long shoreline. In black and white, the contrast between irregular streets and open water gives the composition a strong, natural balance.

Old Town lanes
The historic district's narrow, crooked streets twist around the harbourfront, forming one of the most intricate street patterns on the coast.
Marblehead Neck
Connected by a slender causeway, the Neck curves out into the sea and ends at a lighthouse point guarding the harbour mouth.

Bakit Marblehead
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Sailors, longtime residents and anyone who has walked the old town's lanes will recognise this coastline immediately. It suits a house by the sea as well as a flat far from it.
Personalise it with a boat's name, a wedding date or a family name in the title and subtitle, edit the coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
