Fishing harbour
The port's breakwaters and basins make crisp angular shapes at the waterfront. They are the town's working heart and its most distinctive outline.

Ang mapa
Mdiq Map Poster & Print
Mdiq lies on the Mediterranean coast of northern Morocco, north of Tetouan, where the land drops from green hills to a long sandy shore. The town stretches along the coast in a narrow band, and streets run parallel to the waterfront, with lanes climbing a short way inland before the slopes become too steep.
It began as a fishing town, and its harbour, with breakwaters making sharp geometric lines against the sea, is still at the centre of the map. In recent decades Mdiq has become a summer resort, and new apartment blocks and holiday developments have spread along the coast.
A Mdiq map poster sets a clean coastline against a dense ribbon of streets, with the harbour sheltering behind its piers and the headland of Cabo Negro rising a short distance to the north. In black and white, the sea becomes a large calm field that gives the whole print its balance.

Long shoreline
A long sandy beach runs along the town's seaward side. On the map, a smooth coastline separates the dense streets from the open Mediterranean.
Cabo Negro headland
To the north, the Cabo Negro headland pushes into the sea, a rounded hilly shape that closes off the bay at the top of the composition.
