Ang mapa
Miandrivazo Map Poster & Print
Miandrivazo lies in the Menabe region of western Madagascar, on the river system that feeds the Tsiribihina. From above, the town is a small cluster of streets next to the river, with a main road passing through. The surrounding land is open, with dry hills and a wide river valley.
The town is known as one of the hottest places in Madagascar. It is also the usual starting point for trips down the Tsiribihina, a multi-day descent by boat or canoe through gorges and countryside toward the west coast. Many travellers heading for the Tsingy de Bemaraha begin their river journey here.
A Miandrivazo map poster shows a town at a departure point. The river, the road and the modest grid of streets meet in one frame, surrounded by open country. In black and white, the curves of the water stand out against the lines of the town. It is a map for anyone who started a journey here.
