Ang mapa
Milford Map Poster & Print
Milford, Connecticut, runs along Long Island Sound between New Haven and Bridgeport. Founded in 1639, it has one of the oldest town plans in the state. On the map its long coastline is the dominant feature, a series of beaches, points and small harbours with the mouth of the Housatonic River marking its western edge.
The historic centre is laid out along the Milford Green, an unusually long town green, with the Wepawaug River flowing down to a small harbour nearby. Inland, streets spread in suburban loops, crossed by Interstate 95, the Merritt-Wilbur Cross corridor and the rail line to New York.
A Milford map poster captures a complete New England shore town. There's the colonial core, the river harbour, the salt marshes and Charles Island off Silver Sands, which at low tide connects to the mainland by a sandbar. It's an intricate coastline that works especially well in Blueprint.

Housatonic River mouth
The broad Housatonic forms the town's western boundary, widening into marshes and open water where it meets Long Island Sound.
Charles Island sandbar
Off Silver Sands State Park, a sandbar that surfaces at low tide links Charles Island to the shore, a small, distinctive shape along the coast.
