Ang mapa
Morón Map Poster & Print
Morón lies in the north of Ciego de Ávila province in central Cuba, on flat land between the island's interior and its northern coast. The town has a clear, regular grid of blocks, with streets crossing at right angles around its central square. Railway lines reach the town, and main roads lead north toward the coast and the offshore cays.
Morón is known as the Ciudad del Gallo, the city of the rooster, after an old saying about a rooster of Morón, and a rooster statue stands in the town as its emblem. Nearby is the Laguna de la Leche, the largest natural lake in Cuba, named for the pale, milky colour of its water.
A Morón map poster shows the orderly street plan and the watery landscape around it, with the lagoon forming a broad shape to the north. In black and white, the geometry of the grid stands out sharply against the open plains and coastal wetlands. The result is balanced and graphic, with town and water given equal weight.

Bakit Morón
Isang mapang may kahulugan
For Cubans at home and abroad, Morón and its rooster are instantly recognisable. A map of the town is a personal link to a specific place, and its clean grid makes it one of the more graphic Cuban town maps.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add a date and edit the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, including Blueprint for the water and Sand for a softer look, as $9 HD files or a printed poster from a nearby print partner.
