Ang mapa
Ozëry Map Poster & Print
Ozëry sits on the Oka River in the southeast of Moscow Oblast. The name means lakes. The town grew in the nineteenth century as a centre of cotton weaving, and its mills drew workers from the surrounding villages. In recent years it has been merged administratively with Kolomna, but on the map it is still a separate town with a recognisable form of its own.
The river is the main feature, sweeping past in a broad curve with open meadows on the far bank. The older part of town lies closest to the water, with former mill buildings and low houses on small plots. Later apartment blocks form more regular neighbourhoods further inland, and forests and fields surround the town on all sides.
Ozëry is a place of river summers, walks along the bank and the industrial heritage of the Moscow region's textile towns. An Ozëry map poster brings those elements together: the sweep of the Oka, the older streets by the water and the geometric blocks of the Soviet period, all framed by open country.

Mill town streets
The older districts near the water keep the small plots and irregular lanes of a nineteenth-century textile settlement.
Soviet-era blocks
Further from the river, apartment buildings form more regular neighbourhoods around courtyards, a clear change of texture on the map.

Bakit Ozëry
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Many Muscovites know Ozëry from dachas and summers on the Oka, and for those who grew up there it is home. Its river and streets make a calm, understated poster for a city flat or a country house.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of a street or a family year. Choose from five styles, preview it free, and download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper.
