The city spreads south towards the port and the waterfront, and north towards the foothills of the Cordillera Central. The hill rises just north of downtown and is crowned by Castillo Serrallés. Roads curl around its slopes, breaking the grid into softer, winding lines.
Port and La Guancha
Avenues run south from the centre to the Caribbean shore, where the port and the La Guancha boardwalk meet the water. The coastline gives the poster its lower edge.
