Ang mapa
Reston Map Poster & Print
Reston lies in Fairfax County, west of Washington DC. It was founded in 1964 by Robert E. Simon as one of the first modern planned communities in the United States, and the name comes from his initials. On the map, curving streets and cul-de-sacs wrap around lakes and wooded areas, with village centres placed throughout.
Four man-made lakes, including Lake Anne and Lake Thoreau, are central to the design, as is a large network of walking paths. The Dulles Toll Road and the Metro Silver Line run through the middle, and Reston Town Center forms a denser core near them.
A Reston map poster shows how clearly the plan still reads from above. The winding residential streets, the lakes, the green corridors and the straight line of the toll road create a composition that feels designed on purpose, which makes it especially satisfying as a minimal print.

Bakit Reston
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Reston residents often feel a strong attachment to the community's design and its idea of a place for living, working and walking. A map poster shows that plan clearly and makes a thoughtful gift for new arrivals.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download HD files for $9, or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
