Five village cores
Goddelau, Wolfskehlen, Crumstadt, Erfelden and Leeheim each appear as their own compact cluster. Together they give the poster an unusual scattered layout.

Ang mapa
Riedstadt Map Poster & Print
Riedstadt is not one town but a federation of five villages: Goddelau, Wolfskehlen, Crumstadt, Erfelden and Leeheim, merged in 1977. On the map that history is easy to see. Five separate clusters of streets are scattered across the flat Ried plain and linked by country roads through open farmland.
To the west, the landscape changes. The Old Rhine loops around the Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue, one of the largest nature reserves in Hesse, made up of floodplain forest and meadows. Riedstadt is also known as the birthplace of the writer Georg Büchner, who was born in Goddelau in 1813.
A Riedstadt map poster shows a place with no single centre. It has several village cores, a web of rural roads and the winding line of an old river arm. The composition is quiet and airy, with plenty of open space between the settlements, like the landscape itself.

Old Rhine loop
A former arm of the Rhine curves around the Kühkopf reserve on the western edge. It adds a large, flowing shape to the flat plain.
Ried farmland
Straight field roads and drainage ditches cross the level land between the villages, creating a light grid of fine lines.

Bakit Riedstadt
Isang mapang may kahulugan
The print is a thoughtful choice for families rooted in one of the five villages, or for readers who know Riedstadt as Büchner's birthplace. It shows the whole community at once, which is rare for such a spread-out place.
Add a village name, a date or coordinates, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes A3, A2, 30×40 cm and 50×70 cm among its six sizes.
