Compact town grid
A handful of straight streets forms the town centre. It is small and clearly defined, and it sits like a stamp in the middle of the poster.

Ang mapa
Salitre Map Poster & Print
Salitre is in the far south of Ceará, near the state's border with Pernambuco, in the semi-arid backlands known as the sertão. The town is small and compact on the map. A short grid of streets runs around a central area, and roads lead away across a wide landscape of dry scrub, farm plots and seasonal watercourses.
Life here follows the rhythm of the sertão, with a long dry season, short rains and farming adapted to a hard climate. That shows on the map as open, lightly marked ground around the town. Beyond the settlement, narrow roads connect scattered rural communities, and dry creek beds cross the land, filling only when rain comes.
A Salitre map poster is a simple image of a small backland town. The street grid, the roads out and the empty land around them make a spare, graphic composition. It suits people whose families come from this part of Ceará and who want a real, unembellished picture of the place on their wall.

Roads into the sertão
Routes leave town across dry country toward rural settlements and neighbouring municipalities, drawing long lines across the open ground.
Seasonal creek beds
Shallow watercourses that flow only after rain cross the land around Salitre. They add faint, irregular marks that hint at the region's climate.

Bakit Salitre
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Many people from the Ceará sertão now live far from home, and a map of the town where they grew up is a quiet way to keep that connection. Salitre's sparse layout makes an understated poster that fits easily into any space.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name or date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD download costs $9, and printed posters on matte paper ship internationally.
