Samara River meanders
The river loops and doubles back through low ground, leaving oxbows and backwaters that make the most fluid lines on the poster.

Ang mapa
Samar Map Poster & Print
Samar is a city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, until 2024 known as Novomoskovsk. It stands on the Samara River, a tributary of the Dnipro that meanders heavily through low, wooded ground. On a map the river's loops and oxbows are the dominant feature, winding around and through the city's districts.
The urban fabric combines older low-rise neighbourhoods of houses and gardens with blocks of Soviet-era apartments and industrial zones. To the east lies the Samara Forest, a large area of woodland along the river valley that appears as a broad empty field on the map.
A Samar map poster frames the city in relation to its river. The meandering water, the grid of residential streets on the higher bank and the open forest create a varied, balanced composition. It's a meaningful print for people from the city, carrying both its current name and the geography that has always defined it.
