Ang mapa
Spennymoor Map Poster & Print
Spennymoor is a town in County Durham, in north-east England, set on high ground a few miles south of Durham city. It grew quickly in the nineteenth century with coal mining and ironworks, and its layout still reflects that period. From above, long streets and rows of terraced housing run along the ridge, with the Wear valley falling away to the north.
The town is closely connected with Norman Cornish, the miner and painter whose work recorded the pubs, streets and pit life of Spennymoor. The Spennymoor Settlement, a community education centre founded in the 1930s, helped support artists and writers like him. Today the mines are gone, and newer housing and business parks have grown around the older core.
A Spennymoor map poster shows the regular rows of terraces, the main shopping street and the newer estates on the edges. Fields and woodland surround the town, especially down toward the valley. In black and white, the long parallel streets give the map a distinctive rhythm.

Bakit Spennymoor
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Spennymoor is home to families with deep roots in mining and to newcomers who settled in its quieter streets. A map of the town honours both and suits a hallway, a study or a kitchen wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, for example with a street name or a pit family's surname, and edit the coordinates. Choose one of five styles. Printed posters ship on matte paper from local partners, with an optional wooden frame.
