Central square
The streets of the older centre form a steady grid around the main square and church. It is the densest part of the map and the natural focal point.

Ang mapa
Taiobeiras Map Poster & Print
Taiobeiras lies in the north of Minas Gerais, a region of dry plateaus, cerrado vegetation and long distances between towns. From above, the town is a compact patch of streets surrounded by farmland and scrub. It has no large river or coastline to shape it, so the plan is set mainly by roads and by the gentle slope of the land.
The centre follows a fairly regular layout of blocks around a main square and church. Newer neighbourhoods have grown outward along the roads that leave town. A regional highway runs past, and it is the town's main link to the rest of the state and to Bahia further north.
A Taiobeiras map poster suits someone who knows the sertão side of Minas: open, dry and far from the big cities. The map is spare and orderly, and the empty land around the town frames it naturally.

Roads outward
Roads leave town in several directions, and the newer districts have followed them outward. The result is a loose star shape around the compact core.
Open upland
Farmland and cerrado press up against the edge of the town. Left mostly blank on the poster, they make the built area look small and clearly defined.

Bakit Taiobeiras
Isang mapang may kahulugan
For families from Taiobeiras, the town often means a particular street, a relative's house or a trip home for the holidays. A clean map holds all of those at once, without choosing a single image.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, for instance with a surname or a year. The poster is available in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
