Planned blocks
Residential districts follow a regular post-war layout of courtyards and wide streets, forming a crisp geometric core that stands out against the woodland.

Ang mapa
Trëkhgornyy Map Poster & Print
Trëkhgornyy lies in the western part of Chelyabinsk Oblast, among the forested ridges of the southern Urals. Built in the 1950s as a closed town serving a defence plant, and long known only by a code name, it was planned from scratch. The map shows it: tidy residential blocks, a clear main axis and an industrial zone kept at a distance.
Its name refers to three hills, and the terrain is visible on any map of the area. The town fits into the valley of the Yuryuzan River, with woodland pressing close on all sides. Roads leave in only a few directions, which gives the settlement a self-contained, almost island-like outline within the forest.
A Trëkhgornyy map poster appeals to people who grew up in this unusual, enclosed community, where access still requires permission. On paper the Soviet-era planning reads with great clarity, and the contrast between geometric housing blocks and the soft, irregular forest edge makes for a calm, well-balanced image.

Yuryuzan valley
The river bends through the valley beside the town, a soft curving line that contrasts with the straight streets of the planned districts.
Forest boundary
Dense woods surround the settlement almost completely, so the town appears on the map as a sharply defined clearing with a few roads leading out.

Bakit Trëkhgornyy
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Residents of closed towns often feel a particular attachment to them, and those who have moved away rarely see their home on anything printed. This map gives Trëkhgornyy the clear, respectful treatment it seldom gets.
Add a school class year, a family name or a street to the subtitle, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files come in six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and PDFs.
