Hilly street web
Streets follow ridges and valleys, so the layout bends and stretches in ways that give the poster a lively, irregular texture.

Ang mapa
Xaxim Map Poster & Print
Xaxim is in the west of Santa Catarina, a region of rolling hills, small rivers and productive farmland. The town is named after the xaxim, the tree fern once common in the southern Brazilian forests. On a map, its streets reflect the terrain: some run straight along ridges, others curve down into valleys, and the whole plan has an uneven, organic outline.
The town sits close to Chapecó, the main city of the region, and shares its agricultural economy. Main roads link the two and connect Xaxim to the wider network of the west. These routes give the map its backbone, while residential streets fill the spaces between with a denser, looser pattern.
A Xaxim map poster turns this hilly layout into a clean, graphic image. The streets form a web that stretches and bends, with small streams adding fine lines through the valleys. It is a quiet, personal print, well suited to people who grew up in the town or live in the region and want its shape on their wall.

Named for a fern
The town takes its name from the xaxim tree fern, a native plant of southern Brazil's forests, which adds a nice story to the print.
Link to Chapecó
Main roads toward Chapecó and the rest of the west form strong lines leading out of town, framing the denser centre.
