Ang mapa
Xinyi Map Poster & Print
Xinyi is a county-level city in the west of Guangdong, administered by Maoming and lying close to the border with Guangxi. It should not be confused with the Xinyi district of Taipei. The terrain here is mountainous, and the urban centre occupies a valley where the land flattens out enough for streets, with a river running through it.
From above, the town is compact and irregular, stretched along the valley floor and hemmed in by hills that rise quickly on either side. Bridges link the riverbanks, and roads leading out of town follow the valleys rather than cutting across the slopes. Most of the surrounding area is forest and farmland, so the built-up core shows as a dense island in open space.
Xinyi is a largely rural municipality, with many villages scattered through the hills around the centre. For people who have moved from here to the cities of the Pearl River Delta or further away, a Xinyi map poster is a simple, personal way to hold on to their home town, showing its river, bridges and valley streets in clean black line work.

River and bridges
A river runs through the town, crossed by several bridges that appear as short, firm lines joining the two halves of the centre.
Hill roads
Routes leaving the city wind along the valleys into the surrounding hills. They show as long curving lines that fade into empty space.

Bakit Xinyi
Isang mapang may kahulugan
Xinyi is the kind of place that rarely appears on printed maps, and that is exactly why a poster of it means so much to people from here. The valley shape is clear and compact, and it fits well in smaller frames.
Write your own title, add a subtitle such as a family name, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Check the free watermarked preview before buying the HD files for $9.
