Right-angle roads
Main roads cross at near right angles, which gives the town a tidy, gridded structure. On the poster these lines frame the finer streets between them.

Ang mapa
Yingqiu Map Poster & Print
Yingqiu is a town in Changle County, part of Weifang in Shandong province, on the broad plain that stretches inland from the Bohai coast. The land here is flat and intensively farmed, so straight lines dominate the map. Roads run on near-cardinal bearings, and field boundaries and irrigation channels divide the countryside into long rectangles.
The built-up area forms a compact core of closely spaced streets. Factories, housing blocks and village clusters are scattered around it. Like many towns in this part of northern China, it has grown quickly in recent decades. The newer roads are wide and regular, laid out on purpose rather than shaped by the terrain.
A Yingqiu map poster suits anyone with a personal connection to the town or to the Weifang area, which is widely known for its kite-making tradition. The design strips away colour and clutter and keeps what remains: a town of straight lines on a plain where almost nothing curves.

Village clusters
Around the core, small villages appear as tight clusters of lanes separated by farmland. They are scattered across the page like points on a chart.
Field pattern
The surrounding plain is divided into long agricultural strips. At larger print sizes, the faint lines of tracks and channels add quiet texture to the edges.
