Guimaras Strait shore
The western edge of the map is open water, giving the composition a strong, clean boundary where the city's streets end at the coastline.

Bacolod City Map Poster & Print
Bacolod City lies on the north-western coast of Negros island, looking west across the Guimaras Strait. From above, the city begins at the shoreline and spreads inland in a fairly regular grid, with the older centre organised around the public plaza and San Sebastian Cathedral. Larger roads radiate outward toward the surrounding towns and the flat farmland beyond, once dominated by sugar cane.
It is the capital of Negros Occidental and grew rich on the sugar industry, which shaped both its wide avenues and its old ancestral houses. Bacolod is known as the City of Smiles and for the MassKara Festival each October, when the streets fill with masked dancers. The city is also widely associated with its chicken inasal, a local grilled speciality.
A Bacolod City map poster captures the meeting of sea and grid: a smooth coastline on one side, orderly blocks in the centre and a looser pattern of newer neighbourhoods and reclaimed land toward the edges. It is a clear, readable city on paper, well suited to the clean lines of a minimalist print.

Zašto Bacolod City
Karta koja nešto znači
Bacolod is a city people tend to feel attached to, whether they grew up there, studied there or came for MassKara. A map of its streets is a quiet way to keep it close, especially for Negrenses living elsewhere in the Philippines or abroad.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or an important date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
