The high street
A long, straight main street forms the backbone of the town. Side streets and yards run off it at right angles, a pattern typical of older English market towns.

Bromsgrove Map Poster & Print
Bromsgrove lies in north Worcestershire, between Birmingham and Worcester, and its map is organised around a long central high street running roughly north to south. Older lanes branch off this spine, while twentieth-century estates spread outward in curving cul-de-sacs, giving the town a clear distinction between its historic core and its residential edges.
To the north the Lickey Hills begin, and the railway climbs toward them on the Lickey Incline, known as the steepest sustained main-line gradient in Britain. Motorways pass to the west and north, framing the town with broad, sweeping lines. The poet A. E. Housman was born nearby, and a statue of him stands in the town centre.
A Bromsgrove map poster brings together these three elements: the straight historic spine, the looping suburbs and the heavy strokes of the motorway network. In black and white the contrast between them becomes the main design, making a familiar English market town look structured and deliberate.

Lickey Incline
The railway north of the station climbs toward the Lickey Hills on a famously steep gradient. On the map the line runs as a firm, direct stroke through the landscape.
Motorway frame
The M5 and M42 pass close to the town, drawing wide curves and junctions around its western and northern sides that give the composition a strong outer edge.

Zašto Bromsgrove
Karta koja nešto znači
Bromsgrove is where many people grew up, went to school or settled within reach of Birmingham. A map of the town is a calm way to mark that connection, and its long central street makes it instantly recognisable.
The poster can carry your own title, a subtitle with a date or a family name, and a coordinates line. Pick Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to fit the room it will hang in.
