Market-town core
The oldest streets form a small, tight cluster where local roads meet. It is the densest part of the map and draws the eye.

Changcheng Map Poster & Print
Changcheng is a town in Shandong province, in the interior of the region that stretches toward the Qingdao coast. The countryside here is mostly low and farmed, and the town serves as a local centre for the surrounding villages.
On the map, a compact core of streets sits at the junction of several country roads. Newer blocks with wider streets have been added around the older centre, which is typical of how Shandong towns have grown in recent decades. Past them, the pattern changes to a grid of field boundaries and small village clusters spread evenly across the plain.
The contrast between town and farmland is what makes the image work. Dense lines in the centre give way to long straight roads and small settlements that repeat into the distance. A Changcheng map poster captures that transition from market town to open countryside in a single, even composition.

Newer outer blocks
Wider streets and larger blocks surround the centre. They show how the town has grown outward in recent decades.
Village-dotted plain
Past the town, small villages repeat across the flat farmland. They are linked by straight roads that give the poster a quiet, regular rhythm.
