Changlong Map Poster & Print
Changlong is a town in the Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country on the eastern side of the Sichuan Basin. The landscape here is shaped by long ridges running roughly northeast to southwest, with broad valleys between them. On a map these ridges set the direction for almost everything else, including roads, streams and the outline of the built-up area.
The town itself is modest. Its streets gather along the valley floor, and the surrounding land is divided into fields, terraces and small reservoirs that appear as scattered pale shapes in the countryside. Rural roads wind out from the centre to reach villages on the lower slopes.
A Changlong map poster is a study of a town and its terrain. The built-up area sits compactly in its valley, while the countryside around it fills the frame with irregular fields and winding lanes. In a single colour, the underlying grain of the land becomes clear.

Valley town
Changlong's streets occupy the flatter valley ground. This keeps the town compact and gives it a clear edge against the rising slopes around it.
Fields and ponds
Terraced fields and small reservoirs are spread across the countryside. On the map they form a scattered, irregular pattern around the centre.
