Daur Map Poster & Print
Daur is a town in the Shaheed Benazirabad district of Sindh, on the broad, level plain east of the Indus River. The land here is almost entirely flat, and on a map the town appears as a compact knot of lanes and small blocks, surrounded by a patchwork of irrigated fields crossed by straight canals and distributary channels.
Life in the area is closely tied to agriculture, with cotton, wheat, sugar cane and other crops depending on water drawn from the Indus irrigation system. The town serves as a local market and administrative centre for surrounding villages, and the roads that radiate from it connect the countryside with larger towns in the district.
A Daur map poster shows a place defined by water management as much as by streets. Narrow lanes crowd the centre, main roads leave in straight lines, and canals trace precise paths across the surrounding land. In monochrome, the balance between the dense town and the ordered fields becomes a clear, quiet pattern.
