el hed Map Poster & Print
el hed is in Béjaïa province, in the Kabylie region of northeastern Algeria. The terrain here is hilly and deeply folded, with ridges, valleys and small streams shaping where houses and roads can go. From above, streets do not form a regular grid; they wind along contours and cluster on the gentler slopes.
Settlements in this part of Kabylie often spread in linked clusters rather than around a single centre, following ridgelines and roads that connect them. The surrounding land is a patchwork of small fields, olive groves and wooded slopes, with the Mediterranean coast not far to the north.
An el hed map poster turns that irregular pattern into a quiet, textured image. Winding roads, clusters of streets and the lines of small valleys come together in a composition that feels organic and handmade. It is a thoughtful print for families with roots in Béjaïa province and for anyone who grew up in the Kabyle hills.

Clustered building
Houses gather in groups on gentler slopes, so the map shows several dense patches linked by roads rather than one single centre.
Kabylie landscape
Small valleys, streams and fields surround the settlement, adding fine lines and texture to the open spaces of the print.
