Groves Map Poster & Print
Groves lies in Jefferson County in Southeast Texas, part of the Golden Triangle formed by Beaumont, Port Arthur and Orange. On a map the city is a tidy, mostly rectangular grid of residential streets. It sits just north of Port Arthur, with the waterways and marshes of the Sabine and Neches systems close by to the east.
The city takes its name from the pecan groves that were planted here in the early twentieth century, and it celebrates that heritage each year with the Texas Pecan Festival. Over time the orchards gave way to neighbourhoods, many of them home to workers at the large refineries and petrochemical plants that define the region's economy.
A Groves map poster shows a calm and orderly plan. The street grid fills the centre with even texture, the main roads run in clear straight lines, and the wetlands and waterways at the edge add a looser, more open element. It is a clean, understated portrait of a Gulf Coast home town.

Main arterials
A few long, straight roads cross the city and connect it to Port Arthur and the rest of the Golden Triangle. They frame the neighbourhoods like the lines of a grid.
Coastal wetlands
Toward the east, marshes and waterways of the Sabine–Neches area soften the edge of the city. They show as open, irregular shapes in contrast to the streets.
