Colony grid
The centre is a clear grid of straight streets, a layout inherited from the planned colony that still dominates the heart of the town.

Ijuí Map Poster & Print
Ijuí sits on the planalto of north-western Rio Grande do Sul, a region of broad, gently rolling farmland. The town grew out of a colony founded at the end of the nineteenth century, when settlers from many parts of Europe arrived to work the land, and that mixed origin is still part of the local identity. From above, the urban area is compact and clearly bounded by fields.
The streets follow a largely regular grid, with straight avenues and square blocks spreading out from the centre. Around it, cropland divides the landscape into large, softly curving parcels, while small streams and strips of woodland trace the valleys between the rises. The river that shares the town's name runs through the region and adds a winding line to an otherwise planned composition.
An Ijuí map poster is a clear example of settlement planning meeting open countryside. The contrast between the neat grid and the organic shapes of the land keeps it visually balanced, and it carries meaning for families whose ancestors helped build the town. It is a quiet, precise image that fits naturally in a home or an office.

Farmland on the plateau
Fields surround the town on all sides. Their large parcels and farm tracks form a soft pattern that frames the dense urban core on the poster.
Stream valleys
Small watercourses and lines of trees cut through the rolling ground and give the edges of the map a gentle, organic rhythm against the straight town streets.
