Historic town core
The oldest part of Ilaro is a mesh of short, curving lanes and small blocks. On the poster it forms a dense, textured centre that draws the eye before anything else.

Ilaro Map Poster & Print
Ilaro is in Ogun State, in south-western Nigeria. It is the main town of the Yewa South area, not far from the border with the Republic of Benin. Seen from above, it is a spread-out inland town. Its older centre has the close, winding lanes typical of Yoruba settlements, and newer districts reach outward along the roads that link it to neighbouring towns.
The town is widely known as the home of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, whose campus is a distinct area with a more regular layout than the historic streets. It is also the seat of a traditional ruler, the Olu of Ilaro. On a map, the organic pattern of the old quarters meets the planned lines of the institutional grounds, and the two sit side by side.
An Ilaro map poster brings out that mix in fine black lines: the dense tangle at the heart of town, the long roads leading out and the greener, more open ground at the edges. The result is quiet and detailed. It shows a regional centre that has grown gradually from its core rather than being laid out in one plan.

Polytechnic grounds
The Federal Polytechnic campus has a more ordered arrangement of roads and buildings. Its structured layout stands out clearly against the irregular streets of the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Roads to the region
Main routes leave Ilaro towards other towns in Ogun State and the Benin border. They stretch across the frame as long, confident lines that anchor the composition.
