Hillside streets
The streets follow the contours of the hills. They make curving lines rather than a strict grid, which gives the map an organic look.

Itapagé Map Poster & Print
Itapagé, also spelled Itapajé, lies in the interior of Ceará in northeastern Brazil, west of Fortaleza. The town sits in higher, hilly terrain, and on a map this is obvious. Its streets wind around the slopes, and the regular grids found elsewhere in the state give way to more irregular blocks where the ground is steep.
Around the town, the landscape shifts between hills and lower, drier land typical of the sertão. The main road to Fortaleza passes near the town and links it to the coast, and smaller roads lead to rural communities. The surrounding land is a mix of farmland, scrub and scattered settlements.
An Itapagé map poster shows a small town shaped by its hills rather than by a planned grid. The streets follow the terrain, and open land surrounds them, so the image is loose and organic with a clear centre.

Surrounding countryside
Farmland and dry scrub lie around the town, crossed by rural roads, and leave wide open areas on the poster.
