Jagdīspur Map Poster & Print
Jagdīspur is a town in Bhojpur district in western Bihar, on the broad, fertile plain of the Ganges basin. The land around it is flat and intensively farmed, with villages spread across the countryside and linked by small roads. From above, the town forms a dense cluster in the middle of a patchwork of fields and water bodies.
The town is closely tied to Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, the zamindar of Jagdīspur. In his late seventies he became one of the leading figures of the 1857 uprising against the East India Company. He remains a celebrated figure in Bihar, and Jagdīspur is remembered above all as his home.
The centre of town is made up of narrow, closely packed lanes that open into broader roads leading to Ara and the surrounding villages. Ponds and fields press close to the built-up edge. A Jagdīspur map poster presents this plain-country layout in fine lines, and it carries extra meaning for those who value the town's place in history.

Roads across the plain
Roads lead out of town across flat farmland toward Ara and neighbouring villages, forming long, slightly irregular lines on the map.
Ponds and fields
Village ponds and field boundaries surround the town, giving the edges of the poster a soft, varied texture typical of the Gangetic plain.
