Kungsbacka Map Poster & Print
Kungsbacka lies in northern Halland, a short distance south of Gothenburg, at the head of the shallow Kungsbackafjorden. The Kungsbackaån river winds through town and gives the map a meandering line that the streets follow and cross. The historic centre is small and set around a market square, with low wooden buildings that survived or were rebuilt after a fire in the 1840s. Newer residential areas spread out in loops and cul-de-sacs.
The town has become a place where many people live and commute to Gothenburg, and the map shows it: the railway and the motorway run north-south and link it to the city, and the housing extends out from the centre in all directions. Toward the coast, the land breaks into inlets, peninsulas and islands, and the municipality stretches along a rocky shore well known for summer houses and sailing.
A Kungsbacka map poster brings these layers together: the river curving through the old town, the tight streets around the square and the looser, more modern suburbs around them. With the fjord and the coastline included, there is plenty of open water to balance the composition. It looks calm and very Scandinavian, especially in the lighter styles.

Market square core
Around the old square, short streets and small plots form a dense cluster that stands out against the larger blocks and curved roads of the later suburbs.
Fjord and coast
To the west the shoreline breaks up into inlets and small islands, giving the edges of the map an irregular, lacy outline against open water.

Zašto Kungsbacka
Karta koja nešto znači
Kungsbacka is home for many families who work in Gothenburg but chose a quieter town by the coast. A map of it makes a natural gift for a housewarming, or a way to remember a childhood summer by the fjord.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, an address or a moving-in date. There are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint pairs nicely with the fjord's water.
