Valley setting
The town fills a pocket of flat ground between higher slopes, so the terrain shapes its edges and its outline reads clearly against open space.

Longquan Map Poster & Print
Longquan is a town in the uplands of central Yunnan, a region of high ridges, narrow valleys and small patches of flat ground. On the map, the built-up area fills one of those level pockets. Streets and blocks are packed closely together, and the outline stops where the terrain starts to climb. Roads leave town along valleys and contours, bending wherever the land demands.
Like many Chinese county towns, it has grown in recent decades, with broader new roads and larger blocks added around a denser older core. Beyond the town, small villages, farm plots and mountain tracks are scattered across the slopes. The lines on the map grow thinner and more irregular the further they get from the centre.
A Longquan map poster shows the town at its true scale: a compact settlement in a landscape where the mountains leave little room. The tight network of streets in the middle and the winding approaches around it make a balanced, quiet print, suited to anyone with roots in this part of Yunnan.
