Dense town core
The oldest part of town is a tight weave of narrow lanes and small blocks. On the print it becomes the darkest and most detailed patch of the composition.

Nawanshahr Map Poster & Print
From above, Nawanshahr is a dense knot of streets in open farmland. Its older core has short lanes and tightly packed plots. Newer blocks and roads spread outward and fade into a patchwork of fields and canal lines. Printed in black and white, the town looks like a dark seed in a pale grid of agriculture.
Nawanshahr is the headquarters of the district now officially called Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. It was renamed for the revolutionary, whose ancestral village lies nearby. The town sits in the Doaba, the fertile land between the Sutlej and Beas rivers. Many families here have relatives abroad, so the place is often remembered from far away.
A Nawanshahr map poster keeps the town at a scale where each lane can be read. The main roads leave the centre toward neighbouring towns and the wider plain. Irrigation channels and field boundaries give the edges a fine, even texture that frames the denser middle.

Roads to the plain
Main roads run out of the centre in several directions. They link Nawanshahr to other Doaba towns and give the map clear lines that lead the eye outward.
Doaba farmland
Around the town, straight field edges and irrigation lines cover the flat plain between two rivers. They form a quiet, regular pattern at the margins of the map.

Zašto Nawanshahr
Karta koja nešto znači
For families from Nawanshahr, especially those living overseas, a map of the home streets holds memories that a photograph rarely does. It shows the lanes people walked every day rather than a single view. The layout reads clearly in plain black ink.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or the year someone left home. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room where it will hang.
