Maumee Bay shore
The city's northern edge breaks into marsh, inlets and beach. It is the most organic part of the map, set against the straight roads inland.

Oregon Map Poster & Print
Oregon, Ohio lies on the eastern side of the Maumee River mouth, across from Toledo. It covers a large area that is part suburb, part farmland and part industrial waterfront. On a map, long straight roads following the old survey lines divide the land into wide rectangles.
To the north the city meets Maumee Bay and the open water of Lake Erie. Here the grid gives way to marshland, inlets and an irregular shoreline. Maumee Bay State Park sits on this coast. Closer to the river, refineries and port facilities form large, dense blocks.
An Oregon map poster brings these parts together: an orderly Midwestern grid, heavy industry along the river, and a soft, broken lakeshore. It is a less obvious choice than downtown Toledo, and it shows a real piece of the Lake Erie coast.

Section-line grid
Long east–west and north–south roads divide the city at regular intervals. This is the clearest sign of the survey system that shaped the Midwest.
River industry
Refineries and terminals near the Maumee River form large blocks with few streets. They add a heavier, darker texture at the western edge.
