Scandicci Map Poster & Print
Scandicci sits on the flat land just southwest of Florence, where the Arno valley widens before the hills begin. From above, the town reads as a dense block of streets on the plain, with the Greve and smaller streams cutting through at an angle. To the south, the pattern loosens into olive groves, farm roads and scattered villas climbing the slopes.
The town grew quickly in the twentieth century, and the map shows it. Straight avenues and regular residential blocks fill the lowland, while older lanes survive around the historic core. A single tram line runs through it all and ties Scandicci to the centre of Florence. That line gives the street plan a clear direction, pointing northeast toward the larger city.
Scandicci is known for leather goods and fashion workshops, and many well-known labels make their products here. The hills to the south hold castles and country houses. A Scandicci map poster captures this edge between city and countryside, where the Florentine suburbs give way to the first Tuscan slopes in a few short strokes of line.

Plain and hills
The northern half of the map is dense and level, and the southern half opens into winding hill roads. The contrast between the two gives the poster its strong visual weight.
River courses
The Greve and its tributaries cross the lowland toward the Arno. Their curving paths break up the regular blocks and add soft diagonal lines to the composition.

Zašto Scandicci
Karta koja nešto znači
People hang a Scandicci map for many reasons. Some work in its workshops or grew up in its streets, and others lived here while studying or working in Florence. For each of them, the plan of the town holds the daily route home, the tram stop and the view of the hills to the south.
Each poster can carry your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, whether that is a family name, a moving date or a quiet dedication. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room, from a crisp modern wall to a warmer, softer interior.
