Suixi Map Poster & Print
Suixi lies on the North China Plain in northern Anhui, close to the city of Huaibei. The land here is almost level, and that shows immediately on the map. Main roads run in long straight lines, crossing at right angles and dividing the town into large, regular blocks. The overall impression is of a place planned for movement and growth rather than one shaped by terrain.
Around the built-up area, the pattern changes to fields, villages and drainage channels, which appear as thin lines and scattered clusters. Where the plain is this flat, water is managed carefully, and canals and ponds become part of the drawing. The Suixi map poster captures that orderly layout, with the town as a dense rectangle set within a wider, quieter grid.
Inside the centre, newer residential compounds sit beside older streets, each compound forming its own rectangle of lanes. Seen together, they give the town a modular look, like tiles set into a frame. It is a simple composition, and in black and white it becomes clear and graphic.

Residential compounds
Gated housing estates form smaller rectangles of internal lanes, repeating across the map and creating a regular, modular texture.
Plain and channels
Beyond the town, fields, villages and water channels spread across level ground, drawn as fine lines that frame the denser centre.
