Serra setting
The town sits within a humid hill range that rises above the dry interior of Ceará. The relief shapes every street, and the map shows it in curving, uneven lines.

Uruburetama Map Poster & Print
Uruburetama lies in the Serra de Uruburetama, a range of hills rising from the semi-arid interior of Ceará, northwest of Fortaleza. The altitude brings more rain than the surrounding sertão, and the slopes are greener and more intensively farmed. From above, the town does not follow a strict grid; its streets bend to fit the valleys and ridges.
That terrain is what makes the map interesting. Roads climb and switch back, the town centre gathers where the ground allows, and small streams run through the gaps between neighbourhoods. Away from the centre the lines thin into winding rural routes that link farms and hamlets across the hills.
A Uruburetama map poster reflects a place defined by its setting. Instead of a regular pattern, it shows streets that curve and fork in response to the land, which gives the design an organic, hand-drawn quality. In black and white the contrast between the compact centre and the open hills becomes especially clear.

Winding roads
Routes leading in and out of town follow contours rather than straight lines, bending around slopes and creating long curves across the poster.
Valley streams
Small watercourses run through the lower ground between neighbourhoods, tracing thin lines that help explain why the town is laid out the way it is.
