Xucheng Map Poster & Print
Xucheng is the seat of Xuwen County, at the southern end of the Leizhou Peninsula in Guangdong, the southernmost point of mainland China. On a map, the coast is never far away. To the south and west, the town looks out over the Qiongzhou Strait, the stretch of sea that separates the mainland from Hainan Island.
That position makes the area a gateway. Ferries and trains cross the strait from nearby ports to Hainan, and roads from across the peninsula meet here. The surrounding red-earth countryside is known for vast pineapple fields, and the coast nearby has coral reefs protected in a marine reserve.
A Xucheng map poster shows a compact town grid set against a long coastline and a broad field of open water. Inland, straight farm roads and field edges form a regular pattern across the flat land, while the shoreline adds soft irregular curves and the sea gives the design wide, quiet space.
