Zhigou is a town in southeastern Shandong, in the hilly country that lies inland from the Yellow Sea coast. The land here rises and falls in low hills and shallow valleys. Like many towns in rural Shandong, Zhigou has a main street with commercial buildings, blocks of newer housing around it, and small village clusters scattered across the countryside.
