Grid of the centre
Straight residential streets and broad avenues form a regular pattern in the middle of town, the kind of order that reads especially cleanly in black and white.

Ad Dawādimī Map Poster & Print
Ad Dawādimī sits on the high Najd plateau in the western part of Riyadh Region, on the long road that runs west from the capital toward the Hejaz. From above, it reads as a compact town of straight streets and walled plots. Around it lies open ground where the street network simply stops and the desert takes over, broken only by tracks and scattered farms.
The shape is typical of modern Najdi towns: a gridded core laid out around a few wide arterial roads, with newer districts added in rectangular blocks toward the edges. Highways enter from several directions and give the plan its strongest lines. Around the town the terrain is dry and rocky, with low ridges and wadis that appear on a map only as the gaps between roads.
On an Ad Dawādimī map poster, the contrast between the dense street pattern and the empty land around it becomes the whole composition. The black lines gather in the middle and thin out in every direction, which gives the print a clear, almost diagrammatic look. It suits anyone with a connection to the town, whether they grew up here, studied here or worked in the region for a few years.

Roads to the horizon
Highways leave the town in long straight lines across the plateau, linking it with Riyadh to the east and the western parts of the kingdom.
Open plateau
Beyond the last blocks the map is mostly empty, and that blank space frames the town and makes its outline read as a single, compact shape.

Miért Ad Dawādimī?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For people from Ad Dawādimī, the map is a quiet reminder of a specific place in the Najd: the streets of a childhood, a family house, a first posting. It works well in a majlis, a study or an office, where a clean graphic suits the room better than a photograph.
You can set the title in the spelling you use for the town, add a subtitle or a date that matters, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
