Álimos Map Poster & Print
Álimos is a coastal suburb in the southern part of the Athens urban area, facing the Saronic Gulf. From above, a dense grid of residential streets runs down from the higher ground inland toward the sea, where a busy coastal avenue follows the shoreline. The contrast between the close-knit blocks and the open water gives the map a clear, strong edge.
The most distinctive feature is Alimos Marina, one of the largest marinas in Greece, whose piers and breakwaters form a striking geometric shape along the coast. The area also has ancient roots: it corresponds to the deme of Halimous, remembered as the home of the historian Thucydides. Today it is a lived-in suburb with a close relationship to the sea.
An Álimos map poster brings together the tight Athenian street pattern and the precise lines of the marina. In black and white, the moorings look almost like a diagram, and the coastline sets a calm boundary. It is a map for people who live here, sail from here or simply remember summers along this stretch of the Attic coast.

Coastal avenue
A main road follows the shoreline, separating the dense residential streets from the beaches and the marina, and tracing the curve of the coast.
Ancient Halimous
The suburb stands on the site of the ancient deme of Halimous, traditionally known as the birthplace of the historian Thucydides.

Miért Álimos?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Álimos is where many Athenians grew up, moved for the sea air or keep a boat. A map of the suburb is a personal image, full of familiar streets, and the coastline gives it a composition that works well in almost any room.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a name, an address or a special date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the marina's crisp geometry.
