Bambari Map Poster & Print
Bambari is the capital of Ouaka prefecture and one of the larger towns of the Central African Republic, near the geographical centre of the country. It lies on the Ouaka River, part of the Ubangi basin. On a map, the river forms the main natural line, curving past the town with the built-up area arranged along its banks.
The town has a loose, spreading layout typical of the country's regional centres. A few main roads cross it and continue toward other towns, while residential quarters form a looser network of lanes. Around the edges, the urban area fades into savanna, fields and scattered trees, and the river valley gives the terrain its gentle contours.
Its central position has made Bambari an important stop on routes across the country. A Bambari map poster presents it simply, through the course of the Ouaka, the main roads and the quiet texture of the land around them. It is an understated image for anyone who has lived or worked in central CAR or has family there.

Main roads
A small number of long roads cross the town and head out across the country, forming the clearest straight lines on the map.
Savanna edges
Beyond the centre, the street network thins into open ground and scattered settlements, leaving generous space around the town on the poster.
