Barberton Map Poster & Print
Barberton sits just south-west of Akron in northern Ohio. It was founded in the early 1890s by the industrialist Ohio Columbus Barber, head of the Diamond Match Company, and grew so quickly that it earned the nickname the Magic City. Its map still shows that planned beginning: a grid of streets laid out around a small lake at the heart of town.
That lake is Lake Anna, named after Barber's daughter, and the park around it forms the green centre of the downtown map. Rail lines that once served the city's factories cross the area on long straight paths. Barberton is also known for Barberton chicken, a Serbian-style fried chicken that local restaurants have served since the 1930s.
A Barberton map poster works well because the town has a clear focal point. The grid, the lake and the railway lines form a strong, legible composition, and the surrounding neighbourhoods fill out the frame evenly. It makes a good print for residents, for people from the Akron area, and for anyone interested in the history of American company towns.

Miért Barberton?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Barberton has a strong sense of local identity, from the Magic City name to its famous chicken, and people who grew up here tend to keep that pride. A map of the town is a natural fit for a kitchen, a family room or a gift to someone who moved away.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street or a graduation year, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9, including 18×24″ and 24×36″, or order a printed poster.
